EMERGENCY CHILDCARE

We’re Here for You

A MESSAGE FROM LINDA SHIRLEY

CEO & Head of School

CHILDCARE SERVICES DURING COVID-19

We have always believed in taking an active role in our communities and it is even more important now than ever. This is why we rose to join the many businesses, organizations and individuals of this extraordinary city to support Richmond families, our frontline healthcare and essential workers and in a way we know best: providing exceptional childcare that you can feel confident about during these unprecedented times.

We owe it to our community to do what we can to make things easier, especially for those employed to support us during these times. We are also blessed with a big facility that can accommodate many children and we are also offering care to help Richmond families falling into the second tier of essential service workers who are doing shift work, work on weekends, and those working multiple jobs. We are open for you during this time for overnight and weekend care.

Our Commitment to Your Family's Safety

  • Frequent Handwashing

All individuals are prompted to wash or use sanitizer on their hands upon entering our facilities and children and staff routinely wash hands throughout the day.

  • Increased Sanitization During the Day

Frequently-used surfaces and objects are disinfected more regulary and we have new procedures in place for staff to ensure that our spaces and classrooms are disinfected at regular intervals.

  • Increased Professional Cleaning

The school is now currently being professionally cleaned and sterilized thoroughly each night and carpets and floors are regularly steam cleaned.

  • Increased Sanitizing Stations

We have set up numerous hand-sanitizing stations around the school and at each entrance and we encourage everyone to use them regularly.

  • Quarantine Procedures in Place

We have effective and efficient quarantine procedures in place in the event that a child begins to develop symptoms of fever, cough or flu-like symptoms while they are at school.

  • Reduced Class Sizes

We currently have reduced the number of children and staff in any given space to allow for some level of physical distancing that is still natural for children.
